[영문 이메일] 영어로 감사 표현 하기

외국 사람들과 이메일을 주고 받다보면 영어로 감사의 표현을 해야하는 경우가 많습니다. 저도 싱가포르 포닥을 하게 되면서 하루에 최소한 한 두 번은 영문 이메일을 작성하게 됩니다. 예전 보다는 수월해지기는 했지만 아직도 표현이 부족하다고 많이 느끼고 있습니다. 특히 감사하다는 표현을 자주 사용하게 되는데 쓰는 표현은 한정적 인 것 같습니다. 이번 포스팅에서는 영어로 감사의 마음을 전달하는 표현들을 정리해보았습니다.

● Thank you for the explanation regarding the research proposal.

I would like to thank you for 명사 / -ing

● I would like to thank you for expressing your interest in our paper. I can provide you with the additional information you requested.

I am pleased to hear that 주어 + 동사 

I am pleased to hear from you regarding + 명사

● I am pleased to hear that you liked our proposal.

● I am pleased to hear from you regarding your schedule during the week of January 08.

I appreciate you + -ing 

I appreciate your + 명사  

● I appreciate you letting me know about the schedule.

● I appreciate your effort and help.

● I appreciate your prompt reply.
